Final Destination

(sometime in 2006)

2 suspected terrorists were hunted by the police. I could see from above the madness of people who were busy putting their things and themselves inside the trains before all take off. The train station was filled with people, including the police who were on guard. Suddenly, 2 persons on black trench coats and hats carrying large black suitcases were finding their way into the crowd as they reached the door a train and entered. Minutes later, the train started to move. All of a sudden, a blinding light appeared before me. The moment I opened my eyes, I was already sitting among passengers of the train.

In front of me was the driver, and the large window, where I could see the way the train was heading. As the train started to take off, I felt a tinge of anxiety. I hurriedly put on my seat belt.
I just calmed myself down and closed my eyes. The train then moved faster and faster on its track. It went through passages and tunnels in crazy directions. Trucks jumped out of nowhere and pass over us, cars and other vehicles crossed over our tracks nearly crashing to us. Passengers were already screaming. I looked over my right shoulder and saw familiar faces; people I knew; my friends in college!

I changed seats with the driver and suddenly I found myself driving the train itself. Then the train transformed into a truck. My friends were behind me and yes, I was already driver a truck. But it won't stop. Then it halted to a point, a place were many people were stranded, as if it was a station. We went down from the truck and saw people trying to climb over an almost 50-feet cemented wall. "This is the only way out!" I could hear some screaming. My other friends tried to join the crowd. I looked around, and saw some food stalls. People were hanging out and talking, some were in panic. I grabbed my friends and told them not to join the crowd. Something told me that something bad was going to happen. Most of my friends couldn't understand why and wouldn't believe me. I tried to warn them a lot of times but still they wouldn't listen. One of my friend, Yvette, stood by me, worried as well. I pulled her on the side, to the point I thought we would be safe. We were both bewildered by I told her we had to find our way out. Then there was roaring sound. It was like large chunks of rock and steel were banging each other. There was a deafening silence among the people. All of a sudden, at the top of the wall, a gigantic 10-wheeler truck emerged. It hanged there for a few seconds. People on the bottom glared at the unimaginable site above them. Others started to scream and run. The truck fell down to the crowd, crushing those people who never had the chance to escape, including my other friends. There was an unexplainable cry of terror and everyone was running around. We couldn't believe our eyes. Suddenly, another series of roaring sounds were heard. I knew something was going to happen.

I grabbed Yvette and found a door at the side of the station and went down the stairs. Outside was a parking lot surrounded by high dark gray walls and cornered by the station walls. A few cars were there. I saw a motorcycle on the side and noticed that the key was left. We hurriedly jumped on it. Then a man behind us tried to chase us and asked us what we were doing with his motorcycle. I realized he was the owner nevertheless I turned on the key and took off. There was another door on the side and we entered the building. We passed through a corridor and people were surprised. It was like we entered a hotel because the interior was very elegant and pretty. We passed by a lobby and passed by a huge round table and a sparkling chandelier above it. I saw my old friends Kevin and Lester and they were surprised to see me. "What are you doing?!?" I just smiled and took off and went out the door.

We passed by old buildings. When we went outside, the surroundings were like Dawn of the Living Dead. No one was around. It was like a ghost town. And the sky was very creepy cloudy. I remember seeing a bunch of garbage cans beside an building. Others were tumbling down because of the wind. As we continued to make our way home, the scene changed and suddenly, I was passing by behind a building very similar like the main building of my university. We turned left and headed straight and stopped into a dead end. We found ourselves inside a cemetery and it was scary. The only way out is to climb and step over the railings surrounding the area. It was very high, about 5 feet higher than me. We were in a hurry because we were scared of what might show up again thinking that that was a creepy place to stay. I climbed the railings and jumped to the other side. Yvette managed to climb, but she was very hesitant. I told her it was fine and we really needed to go out before something bad happens. She climbed over and fell down, and I catched her. Suddenly, when she looked at me, she transformed into somebody very familiar. I was like, "Roxanne Guinoo?" I was astounded for a while, when she suddenly ran and told me to hurry. There was an open gate nearby and we headed straight out.
